Music is medicine in its own right.
I like melodic, resonance voices. The story behind my voice preference is in my Memoir which I will share with the right man, as appropriate. In a musical context: My voice is clear, rich in tone and would suit an Alto part in a choir. Whilst many people shy away from microphones, I love them.
I am well organised, have an outgoing personality and like attending classical music concerts. My interests include: Music, Dancing, Field recording, Creative Writing, Reading, Movies, French, Travel, Dining out, Technology, Business Management and Cycling.

I have been a musician for many years and play a Yamaha Tyros5 Digital Workstation. I arrange many pieces, suitable for dinner music. I also play disco music and I have written musical compositions using a 16-track sequencer.
I have had a Christian faith for a number of years and attend a charismatic church with upbeat music.
To me, quality is better than quantity. I also enjoy intellectual pursuits and good conversation. By the way, I speak a little French.
I would like to meet a man who is warm, caring, empathetic and shares my Christian beliefs. A man who possesses similar qualities to myself as I believe this is a good basis to build a solid companionship.
My faith in my own words:
I know God can make the impossible possible. This gives me hope where there is despair and keeps me going, especially through difficult times. I know God answers prayers but not always in the way I expect. I have found God's way is better than I could ever imagined. For example, losing my job in November 2014 was devastating, particularly the nastiness around it and what would follow. In fact, I recall feeling God's arms lifting me out of a toxic situation, metaphorically and prophetically so to speak, one week prior to losing my job. In my mind, I felt sure God didn't want me to be unemployed so I hadn't realised the "situation" meant my job per se. God in his wisdom, had other ideas. He sees the bigger picture. The "toxic" environment was actually making me physically, emotionally and mentally ill. In other words, God rescued me from a mental breakdown. Now, I feel much better. My health not only has been restored but I am enjoying a new level of wellness than I have ever experienced. Furthermore, God has made financial provisions, too!
I believe in the gifts of the spirit - one of them being "prophecy". One example: I felt prompted by God to purchase my house during the lead up to my redundancy. It would be too late now. I simply wouldn't get the finance. Yet, I am financially comfortable ... through God's provision. Also, the good planning on my part is paying off, due to God's blessings of wisdom, intelligence and wise counsel.
Speaking of spiritual gifts: I feel God is sending someone who [in God's words]: "He will be a physician to you." (It is prophetic.)
My favourite books of the bible are Proverbs and Psalms.
What I enjoy doing in my free time:
Playing, composing and listening to music, creative writing, reading, dining out, travelling and cycling.
My favorite places to go:
Melbourne and cities in New Zealand.
What I am most passionate about in life:
Education, advocacy and electronic braille. I strongly believe braille is equivalent to print for a totally blind person as it is a form of literacy.
My current occupation or what I do:
I am Founder and Chief Publishing Officer (CPO) of a small transcription business.
My close friends would say my greatest strengths are:
Reliability, sincere, ethical, caring, warm, supportive, efficient, pays attention to detail, well organised, outgoing and relates well to many people.
Debbie.
