I have a generally open attitude towards life with a spiritual essence and value sharing diverse experiences with others. To add joy, laughter, singing, dancing, adventure, spontaneity and intimacy in a partnership - fantastic. I am not afraid to express my feelings towards my partner openly, e.g., holding hands........
I try to keep fit and energetic and love the opportunity to enjoy and share a variety of physical activities with other kindred spirits. Bike riding is just one example and this is often enjoyed with a bunch of friends from the area. I enjoy a little guitar playing, very rough didgeridoo and tinkle on the piano - not expert in any way but nice to get some "music" going in those quiet times.
I am the proud father of twin daughters who are following their special dreams in life. I love the outdoors, the raw expansive coastline and Australia's wonderful bush with its unique plants and animals. On any weekend you may find me developing the garden I have established already with many native plants, adding more as empty spaces are located and filled - and the birds love me for it!!
An invitation to a great glass of wine or two over a tasty meal or BBQ and in good company is always eagerly accepted - and of course with some nice music to complete the scene - just great! All this outdoors, adds another wonderful dimension.
I love a diverse range of music. Can be high volume or low - from classical to jazz, blues or world music. Very much depends on the mood I find myself in at any given moment. Music often brings back fond memories of good times past. Spontaneous dancing has been known to occur!
I am a skilled electrical technician and have enjoyed the many roles that I have undertaken in this position for most of my working life - and still do.
If the urge should pop up (excuse the pun), building an addition to the home can be a delightful activity to share with someone close, who is a willing participant (at what ever level - specific skills not needed) and who can be openly passionate in the joint effort (not a must or a deal breaker though). Mud brick is a wonderful building medium and I have used this to build a large extension in the recent past .
I enjoy the outdoors generally; includes gardening, walking along the beach or through the bush, as well as bike riding (as mentioned before) and lots more - moments of joy can arise unexpectedly from time to time, especially in the company of others.
I love Australian native plants and enjoy imparting or sharing information about them or discovering them in nature. All this along with a broad environmental appreciation, again to share and enjoy with others with similar likes or with those who are genuinely inquisitive.
I would really love to hear from anyone who can align to some of, not necessarily all of the above! Always open to hear your thoughts - I will never insist on my take on life as a must for any who wishes to travel together with me.
